Control is a film about the life and death of Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis. It is based on a book by Deborah Curtis called 'Touching from a Distance'. The film is directed by Dutch producer Anton Corbijn. There should be some interesting tribute tracks for the soundtrack as well as those amazing Joy Division originals. Joy Division covers are tough. mainly because its hard to recapture that sense of isolation that ian curtis brought.
ReplyDeleteNew Order covers are easier because its less emotion. Like the GoStation just released a cover of "True Faith" and its gorgeous. but the Killers cover leaves me empty.
