A Band Can Surprise You On TV

I have to say that I've never really been a fan of the band Saliva. In my opinion they were always a bit too commercial while still trying to come off as hard. That opinion has since changed. The new Playstation 3 ad caught my ear immediately. When I researched who did the song I was surprised to find out it was Saliva. After checking their Myspace page and listening to a few more songs I realized that I still don't like this band however I feel that they are an amazing band for promo and advertisement use. Great energy and movement in all of their songs. I've attached the Playstation 3 ad so you can get a feel of what i'm talking about.



I've also included this clip for ESPN's new series Varsity Inc. about a high school football team from Louisiana. They switched their song from "King of the Stereo" to "King of the Stadium" for the promo campaign. Another anthem but again, nothing I would bump on my ipod.
