Classic Movie Mondays 17

We're back! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. This week I wanted to take it back to that nostalgic 80's theme that you weren't sure if you loved or hated at the time but knew it had a strange impact on your brain. Today we visit the theme from the classic Joel Schumacher movie St. Elmo's Fire. The theme (also known as Man in Motion) written by John Parr was a hypnotic blend of classic strings mixed with 80's synth leads (and the sax, who could forget that sax). When you hear it now it obviously sounds a little cheesy in that Doogie Howser MD theme song kind of way but if you were alive and kicking at the time it brings back great memories. For me it is mostly memories of the movie but it might dig a little deeper for some of you.
