Last years Best Song category had some fierce competition on the ballot (unlike this year *cough cough*). You had Randy Newman, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, ect.. So with all of that going on who would've thought that Melissa Ethridge could pull out the win for a song done for a documentary!? We did! "An Inconvenient Truth" is a great film everyone should watch and "I Need To Wake Up" is a very fitting song for the subject matter. Honestly, we don't like show tunes that much anyway... Long live rock!
